Planning a Cultural and Linguistic Immersion Program can take many hours of research, phone calls and emails.  ATT Communication will provide ideas and options you may not have yet considered. We make an effort to save our clients both time as well as money by sorting through different alternatives and recommending the best solutions to meet each client's needs.

Objectives/Functions

This Cultural and Linguistic Immersion Program is designed for any student o people who are desirous to acquire deeper knowledge of the African culture, especially the Yoruba or any related African studies program.  This will help them acquire the necessary mastery over the Yoruba language so that they can attend lectures and write examinations in Yoruba without any problem

The objectives of the program are as follows:

• To expose students from around the world to the Yoruba Culture and acquire language skills for effective communication,

• To give the students ample opportunity to interact with staff and students in the Yoruba language, thereby helping to develop their competence in the latter,

• To prepare the students in basic linguistic needs in Yoruba, thus preparing them for their chosen area of study,

• To make our Language Center more accessible to all foreigners,

• Oral production, supra segmental features, such as rhythm and intonation

Program

The program will normally last one session of three weeks.  In special cases, students may be allowed to do one semester only depending upon their level of competence in Yoruba.
